There are many people to thank.

      1. Birsay Farmers, Ortak, Ola Gorie, Orkney Ferries, Highland Park for donating items which were given as prizes for the 'Best in Section' winners
      2. Mr & Mrs M Cockram, Mr N Judd, Mr & Mrs R Baines, Dr L. Fortune, Mr & Mrs P Joy for donating trophies to be presented to 'Best in Section' winners and will be held for a full year.
      3. The Judges, Jim Holland, Yvonne Harcus, Jane McGrath and Patrick McGrath who did an excellent job, which was not easy due to the high standard.
      4. All the Islanders who donated raffle prizes, home bakes for refreshments, show entries for the auction and their time to help during a very busy day.
      5. Mr & Mrs R Baines who donated the 'Supreme Show Champion' winning entry a painting in watercolours painted by Jennie Baines of Beauty and her foal. The painting was auctioned at the dance in the evening and sold for £150 to a phone bid made from Stronsay.
      6. Last, but by no means least, ALL THOSE WHO ENTERED ITEMS IN THE SHOW, without these folk there would be no show.

The show is proving to be a very important part of the Islands social calender and we look forward to next year.
